I consistently was conflicted the majority of my life because my dad's. American and my mom is from El Salvador and raised in Costa Rica. So you know as a kid I just didn't know really where I fell., And so when I saw you know that Indeed offered these amazing, IRGs and Latinx was really a place for me to deep dive into that side of myself.

I couldn't pass up that opportunity.. I was born and raised in Oaxaca Mexico.. My dad is from there. His whole family is from there, but my mom is from the United States. That's. A big reason why i'm here in the IRG to help promote that there are other ways to just view: the traditional Hispanic person.

It's been tough recently to be Latin in America, so we're really looking For people to you know, ally and stand beside us., So the goal of Latinx in Tech can be summed up with our mission statement so & quot unidos & quot.

We help the Latinx community, develop and drive change.. We're, trying to specifically help that group grow and develop and be more incorporated into tech. As the numbers and the data show we're, not there yet.

. You have to really make sure that we're. You know embodying what all these different cultures value and what they celebrate, and so I think it's, also a very big learning opportunity for us, and not only learning about other IRGs, but also too, like learning about our own.

Going out into the Community, educating upcoming generations right, So we partner a lot with Latinitas American Youth Works, other colleges and - and we're just trying to let these young people know that they can be in tech that they can succeed.

. My biggest accomplishment in Latinx would be all the people that I've, helped lift into different roles and just helped them advance their careers and just watching them thrive, and I think that's. Probably one of the most amazing things that IRGs do is we lift people up that need to be lifted and show them that it's possible.
